Fiesta Inspiration

April 15, 20151 Comment

What do you think of when you see bright colors, pinatas, and cacti? Well a fiesta, of course! I'm currently in the process of planning a Fiesta themed event at our church and I am just drooling over all the beautiful and fun fiesta themed decor I've found online. I had to share it with … Continue reading Fiesta Inspiration

Oxidized Wood Entertainment Center

I love my husband so very much and for so many different reasons. One of the things I love most is the passion he has for his hobbies. I mentioned in the post about the DVD shelf his obsession with movies and everything that has to do with them. That includes what he watches them … Continue reading Oxidized Wood Entertainment Center

I Can’t Get It Out of My Mind

February 6, 2015February 5, 20151 Comment

Do you ever hear or see something that struck you so deeply on the inside you couldn't get it out of your head for days after? A concept so fervent it protrudes your current way of thinking and forces you re-examine your life, how you live it, and how you can make it mean more? … Continue reading I Can’t Get It Out of My Mind

Our Weekend In Bend

January 28, 2015January 24, 20152 Comments

If anyone ever asked me to give them advice about life in general (you'd be surprised how often this happens...), I would tell them to find friends that you love to travel with. These are very special friendships because you couldn't spend a weekend or longer with just any friend, they have to be special. … Continue reading Our Weekend In Bend

It’s Really Happening

January 26, 2015January 24, 20153 Comments

When my husband and I first got married, we made a list of all the things we wanted to do before we started popping out babies. The biggest thing we had was take a European cruise, and guess what? It's really happening!! And not only is it really happening but it's all paid for! James and … Continue reading It’s Really Happening

Industrial Pipe DVD Shelf

January 7, 2015January 5, 20154 Comments

Everyone has their "thing". The thing they could talk about non-stop, spend endless amounts of money on, and feel the urge to show anyone who walks through the door. For me it's my house and whatever cute new thing I've added to it and for my husband it's movies. For a long time now his … Continue reading Industrial Pipe DVD Shelf

Bathroom Plans

January 5, 2015January 2, 2015Leave a comment

I'm sitting on the couch fiddling on pinterest; looking through my boards and all of a sudden something clicks. It literally was like a light bulb flipped on above my head. I figured out the bathroom. I've talked about our bathroom plans before in this post but never had a solid idea on its design. … Continue reading Bathroom Plans

Geometric Accent Wall

January 2, 2015January 2, 20152 Comments

This week I finally pulled the trigger and painted an accent wall in my entryway. I wanted something that added dimension but wasn't too crazy since it's a smaller space. When I found this tutorial on Vintage Revivals I knew this was it! All it requires is a straight edge and a Sharpie paint pen. … Continue reading Geometric Accent Wall

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I've been dying to share this tutorial with you guys but since these were gifts for the little ones in my life, I wanted to keep them a surprise until after they were opened. I can now scratch one more thing off my bucket list; I have … Continue reading DIY Animal Pillows

Creative Gift Wrap

December 22, 20144 Comments

Last christmas I made one of the best purchases of my life. A giant roll of brown kraft paper.  I can't even begin to list all of the things I've used this paper for because I could go on and on but the last two years I have used it for all of my christmas … Continue reading Creative Gift Wrap

Hello! I’m Sharaya

We had so much fun in Disneyland this week and once again I’m so proud of these kids and what amazing troopers they are. Country life: one minute you’re chopping a 3ft long snake in half with a machete because it’s trying to get in your chicken coop, the next your baby is being cute with a pink watering can 💁🏼‍♀️ Olive and James found a deer skeleton in the woods and yesterday she brought it in to get a closer look. One of the gifts God gave me this past year was a fresh perspective and renewed love for motherhood that had been dimmed by health issues, postpartum anxiety and rage, and not enough time in prayer and the word.
